Jim was an amazing photographer! We hired Jim for our engagement photos, and we are so happy with the quality of the photos we got - they are outstanding. I often joke with my friends that I wish I could pay Jim to follow me around photographing my life because he infuses every photo with this romantic, whimsical, better-than-life quality. We were initially a little awkward about posing, but Jim worked with us and helped make the process feel natural. He also does a lot of non-posed shots or ones with movement that result in candid appearing beautiful photos. He is very professional and clearly seasoned in the industry, so he also had a lot of good advice about other aspects of wedding planning - makeup, florists, etc. He was in touch with me early on before the shoot to hash out details about my clothes, bouquet/props, hair/makeup, and he is very clearly invested in producing good photos. Even if you don’t have a clear vision for your photos, he will guide you and make sure you take the steps during the prep process to have beautiful photos. Highly, highly recommend!
