Tldr; Jim is an amazing artist, photographer and person in general! Professional, dedicated and great at communication. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a unique and custom to you photoshoot as he takes in the details of your story, combines it with his amazing vision (and your preferences!) and truly creates works of art in the form of photos Our Details: Occasion: engagement photoshoot Length: 8 hr shoot Location: SoCal Participants: fiance, me and our two dogs! His details/our experience: Communication: before the shoot Jim and I exchanged countless emails since I tend to ask a lot of questions. He answered each and every one of them in a timely manner and provided great advice which clearly demonstrated his level of experience and passion for his work. I greatly appreciated this and felt more at ease and never like an inconvenience as some vendors may tend to get frustrated or short with lots of questions. Planning: He took the time to ask us what we like to do, then he crafted a beautiful day / idea that we could work off of. My fiance and I tweaked small details here n there and selected 3out of the 4 locations we went to. Then day of we were even able to squeeze in on extra location based on Jim's recommendation which we LOVED. Promptness: Jim started our shoot right on time and worked hard til we were done! First timers: my fiance and I had never done a photoshoot before, but Jim gave us the advice we needed and let us feel comfortable in a way that I loved how it showed up on camera. I'll be honest not ever shot was perfect, but there are countless that I truly loved. I'm so glad we had the time to work with Jim. We also booked him for our wedding, I'll write on that when we get the photos!
