We hired Jim for our Covid-friendly microwedding. I do some travel and portrait photography of my own so to-say-the-least I'm quite particular on the kind of photographer I wanted. I believe that anyone can pick up a professional camera and learn editing but I think it takes a certain visual eye to frame and shoot in a way that is aesthetically pleasing. Jim is artistic and creative. His photos were candid (not stiff and "posy") and really captured the essence and emotions of certain moments, a few of which I hardly recalled until I saw the photos. Jim's style of shooting is natural and relaxed, but at the same time he can also direct you according to his "vision". Prior to our special day, Jim was prompt with email communications. On the day of, Jim and his assistant Siliang were friendly and made us feel relaxed and at ease. We really enjoyed the day with them and treasure the memory and the photos we now have to remember the special day. Highly recommend that you hire Jim for your life's special moments!
