On the morning of the wedding, a pair of deer wandered quietly through the venue as if they had come to witness the day, like a gentle blessing offered by the forest itself.

Light came through the canopy in pieces.
Flowers hung mid-air; everything paused for just a second. And there, beneath the redwoods, they said yes.

By the time the lights came on and the toasts turned into laughter, it didn’t feel like a wedding anymore. It felt like a gathering of lives that had been intersecting for years, finally sitting still for a moment to witness this one chapter begin.
